About Me
Hi there! My name is Ethan Kuo. I'm a Chemical Engineering student at the University of California, Irvine. Originally from Boston, I came seeking warm weather and good Asian food. I love to cook, dance, and watch Korean tv. I'm not the best at writing, but I have great ambitions that require writing as a skill, so I am determined to get better. My goal as a chemical engineer is to see that reasonable, sustainable energy becomes a reality. I want to work on many projects in many fields that I believe will make a difference, so it is my goal to "be in the room where it happens" (Lin-Manuel Miranda). In order to make that a reality I must work hard, but play smarter.

Another step in a magical adventure.
This course is the 1st of 3 required writing course at UCI. Its focus is to improve my fundamental writing skills. The topics we will cover in class are based around Disney productions and Gender roles.
Feel confident in you reading accuracy
Something I have always struggled with is reading. Whether I struggle because I'm dyslexic or because I didn't read much as a kid, I want to focus on learning skills to help me read more accurately.
Improve your ability to write prose that is readable, focused, and full of details.
Another thing I have always struggled with, is putting my ideas into words. I find that my ideas are usually creative and consistent, but my writing comes out confusing and bare. I want to focus on adding details to my writing and making sure everything flows well.
